A Morning Intention

Dear Wildness, Dear Mysteries, Dear Time, Dear Death, Dear Life,

Thank you for all of the abundant blessings in my life. Thank you for all that you have brought me And for all that you have allowed me to bring to the world.

Today I humbly ask the following of myself And I ask of you that you grant me Resources and intuition and courage and intentionality In support of my orienting to the following:

To be in right relationship with those I connect with today To be in right relationship with those I serve today To be in right relationship with my colleagues today To be in right relationship with those I love today

To honor and deeply respect the sovereignty of all beings To care for the human soul, whatever that means, today To care for my body and all bodies

To hold space for complexity To center the needs of those who are marginalized

To be in right relationship with the Earth

To do what is mine to do To rest when I need to rest

To tend what needs to be tended To apprentice the wellness ways

To trust in the organic processes and unfolding of Life and Death To trust that repair will come after any rupture To co-create meaningfully with what this day has to offer To weave together the colors of my soul With the threads that Death and Life bring me today

To discern what is mine, what is yours, and what is ours. To be a channel rather than the source To come home to the flow of Life and Death and Life.

Thank you.
